The Pushkar Rose Gulkand Odyssey: Harvesting Sun-Baked Petals
Cremilk Sourcing Collective

Inside the ancient desert rose farms of Rajasthan where pink Damask rose petals are sun-macerated with rock sugar to infuse Cremilk Kaju Gulkand Kulfi.
In the sacred town of Pushkar, Rajasthan, pink Chaitri roses are harvested before sunrise while their essential oils remain trapped inside dewy petals.
The Ayurvedic Art of Gulkand
Unlike modern rose syrups that use artificial red dye and fragrance chemicals, authentic Gulkand is prepared by layering fresh rose petals with unrefined crystal rock sugar (mishri) in clay jars and curing them under the desert sun for 40 days.
Royal Pairing with Roasted Cashews
We blend this fragrant sweet preserve into creamy milk rabdi and fold in crunchy roasted Goan cashew bits. The result is a cooling, floral, royal delicacy.
